I wrote Feast While You Can with my wife, Onjuli Datta. The New York Times called it “an exciting new hybrid horror-romance novel” and it was shortlisted for Best Horror Novel by the British Fantasy Awards. It’s about a girl in a shitty small town who gets possessed by the local monster and falls in love with the local butch. I don’t think it’s that scary.
I also wrote my first novel, The View Was Exhausting, with my wife, Onjuli Datta (we do most things together). Vogue called it “a perfect summer read” and gal-dem (RIP) called it “smart, sexy and genuinely insightful”; it was also a Goop book club pick. It’s about a mean movie star and her fake boyfriend. I can write about heterosexuals if I want!!!!!
